One-line description and overview

BrainsForYou (Seonhwa) is a free AI companion that remembers you. Memory is stored only on the user's device, there are no ads and no tracking, and it works in 31 languages on phone and PC.

Most AI chatbots forget everything when the window closes. BrainsForYou runs on DyME (Dynamic Memory Engram), a cognitive core modelled on the human brain. It remembers the names, family, appointments and tastes you mention once, and consolidates memory the way a brain does during sleep. That memory stays only on the user's phone or PC, never on a server.

There are 25 feature groups with 454 items: lifelong memory and legacy handover, brain-health and dementia-prevention tests, scam-text, voice-phishing and deepfake detection, learning English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean, songs sung in a real voice, explainer videos, drawing and web novels, office documents, fact checking and research tools, and daily-life management such as medication, budget and schedule. Each opens with a single sentence.

It is free and meant to stay free. Only when heavy thinking is needed does that single question go to the AI provider the user chose (Gemini, Groq and others). It opens in the browser with nothing to install and can be added to the home screen like an app. So that everyone from children to seniors can use it, large text and a voice-only simple mode are built in.

Key facts

Founder

Dr. Charlie Shine is a neuroscientist. He designed the DyME engine after the way the brain forms memories and consolidates them during sleep, and built BrainsForYou on top of it with one goal: anyone, on a phone, for free, using an AI that remembers them. On the principle that a user's memory must belong to the user, the app keeps memory off servers entirely.

BrainsForYou, the free AI companion that remembers you, launches in 31 languages
2026 · worldwide — memory stays on the user's device, no ads or tracking, 25 feature groups

BrainsForYou (Seonhwa), an AI companion created by neuroscientist Dr. Charlie Shine, is now available in 31 languages. It runs on DyME, a cognitive core modelled on how the brain stores memory, and differs from other AI chatbots in that it does not forget what it was told and carries it into the next conversation.

Memories and conversations are stored only on the user's phone or PC, not on a server. Only when heavy computation is needed does that single question go to the AI provider the user selected. The app is free, with no ads and no third-party tracking. It opens in the browser with nothing to install and can be added to the home screen like an app.

Features span 25 groups and 454 items: lifelong memory and legacy handover, brain-health and dementia-prevention tests, scam-text, voice-phishing and deepfake detection, learning four languages, songs sung in a real voice, explainer videos, drawing and web novels, office documents, fact checking and research tools, and daily-life management. Large text and a voice-only simple mode serve seniors and families. The app is available at ai.brains4goodlife.com.
